Its evolution has improved positional accuracy as it is now able to receive 5 satellite GPS signals, including the quasi-zenith satellite “MICHIBIKI”, and location information is now sent once very 20 seconds — that’s 3 times better than the previous model. By virtue of these advancements, the accuracy of the vehicle graphs in DoCoMAP have improved dramatically. This has also paved the way for significant enhancements to other DoCoMAP functions such as area notification and schedule management.

GNSS is a general term for a mechanism that allows you to check your position with satellite such as a GPS satellite positioning system. GPS2.0 uses the United States’ GPS, Japan's Michibiki (QZSS], Russia's GLONASS, Europe's Galileo, China's BeiDou, a total of five satellite positioning systems, so you can get more accurate location information.
LTE is a 3.9G communication standard that makes third-generation mobile communications (3G) faster, have lower latency, and have a wider range, but is officially called 4G. Since GPS 2.0 uses the LTE line, it can be used within the LTE area nationwide. In addition, the administrator can manage location information immediately, 15 times faster than the conventional communication standard (3G).
Since there is no need to bear any other operational costs such as system development / installation fees, device costs, and additional ID costs, it is extremely easy and inexpensive to introduce the service.
With technology that uses multiple GNSS satellite positioning systems at the same time, such as the Japanese quasi-zenith satellite Michibiki (QZSS) and Russia's GLONASS, it is possible to acquire position information with higher accuracy than conventional models.
